  • We Feed Campaign – The Region’s Largest Food Bank

    Within 12 months, Kerrie and her team achieved remarkable success in increasing awareness for the critical role the organization plays in the community. Concurrently, the Silent Phase of a multi-year campaign was launched to secure funding for a new campus home for the food bank. In less than one year, over $15 million was raised, including the first seven figure gifts ever received by the organization. Through strategic vision, the implementation of a major gifts program, a compelling awareness campaign, Board engagement and a dedicated staff, community support grew substantially bringing attention to the urgent issue of food insecurity in the region.

    Comprehensive Campaign (2013 – 2018) - Baptist Health

    Kerrie and her team were instrumental in elevating the fundraising efforts at Baptist Health, playing a pivotal role in raising over $100 million. Through her cultivation of close personal relationships with donors, she connected their personal interests and passions with their philanthropic giving. During the campaign, Kerrie secured the first gift of $11 million for Baptist Health. The funds raised under her leadership have had an immeasurable impact, enhancing healthcare in our community for children and adults.

  • $3M endowment for the Chief Curator Position - Cummer Museum

    Under Kerrie's leadership, the Cummer Museum secured the first $3 million endowment for the Chief Curator position, ensuring long-term stability and excellence in curatorial leadership. This significant investment reflects the Museum's commitment to fostering artistic innovation, scholarly expertise, and engaging exhibitions for the enrichment of its visitors and the community at large.

    First $11M gift in the healthcare system’s history - Baptist Health

    Kerrie led the first implementation of a philanthropic giving and major gifts program at Baptist Beaches in 2008 that continues to thrive today. During her 9 years leading fundraising for Wolfson Children’s Hospital, she and her team worked closely with the Hospital President to significantly expand the major gift programs at all levels, including receiving the first ever gift of $11 million for the health system. Kerrie also developed the first philanthropic program to support endovascular neurosurgery for both adults and children. Through innovative initiatives and grateful patients, multiple 6 and 7 figure gifts were secured to support these lifesaving programs.

  • Kerrie has applied her corporate background in business technology to evaluate processes and supporting systems to streamline operations. Examples include leading the team that implemented the first digital engagement project at Baptist Health for Wolfson Children’s, transitioning the food bank from using a third-party donation processing system to integrating their CRM, and implementing the first Visitor Experience team for the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.

  • Through captivating storytelling, vibrant visuals, and interactive content, the Cummer Museum’s social media presence grew by over 400%, fostering a sense of community and expanding its reach. With a keen understanding of digital trends and audience preferences, the K. Slattery team curated compelling content that resonated with followers, sparking conversations, and generating revenue. The team integrated those vibrant visuals into the Museum’s collateral, donor pieces, and identity, which led to increased giving.

  • A Space Refresh - Cummer Museum

    The K. Slattery team led the Cummer Museum in a significant update and renovation to further enhance its interactive and educational offerings. Recognized for its exceptional blend of technology and art appreciation, the revamped space now boasts enriched hands-on activities and is an inclusive environment that caters to diverse learning styles and interests. By modernizing and expanding this celebrated space through a more welcoming design, the Cummer Museum reaffirmed its commitment to educational excellence while also strengthening it’s brand.

  • Creating Website Solutions

    • Getting food into the hands of those who need it most was the food bank’s primary goal. By creating a new Find Food Map tool, we ensured clients could locate services close to them no matter what device they had access to. Clients are now able to search and filter by zip code, type, and date.

    • With a keen understanding of digital trends and audience preferences, the K. Slattery team curated the Historic Eastside CDC’s website, redesigning the entire site to provide a user-friendly platform that effectively communicates the organization's mission of equitable community development. The revamped website now serves as a valuable resource, showcasing the CDC's commitment to preserving and transforming the Eastside neighborhood by improving access to affordable housing, social services, cultural development, wealth building, education, and safety.

    Outdoor/Billboards

    The K. Slattery team’s decision to add "We Feed 85,000 people every day" to each of the digital billboards during the campaign was to provide a memorable statistic that people could capture at 65 mph. This number was repeated back to staff by many surprised donors - proving its success.

  • Kerrie, Joanna, and their team at Wolfson Children’s spearheaded the enhancement and expansion of the DreamCoat Society, a donor society that supports Wolfson Children’s Hospital at Baptist Health. Expanding this esteemed group of the strongest donors, a culture of philanthropy and generosity grew and flourished that resonated throughout the organization. Through strategic vision and unwavering dedication, meaningful relationships were cultivated with many donors, empowering them to make transformative investments in healthcare. DreamCoat Society members received unparalleled stewardship and engagement opportunities, allowing them to witness firsthand the impact of their gifts. Kerrie and Joanna created the tagline “Hope Starts Here” for the compelling videos and theme for the annual DreamCoat Society Dinner. This phrase has continued as the prevalent tagline used by the children’s hospital for raising awareness and philanthropic funds.
